So, in case you hadn’t noticed the final Tier for Cataclysm is now on the PTR. This expansion really seems to have flown by, partly because I’ve stepped out of the game for the latter half. As a keen shaman fan who has long been disappointed in blue posts about my class, I must admit the changes for 4.3 have piqued my interest. No more interrupts! We only have the normal loot table at the moment, and the full table is available at MMO Champion as always. For Elemental Shaman specifically there are three items that we will be ‘gunning for’. My top search engine hit at the moment concerns which DPS potions an Elemental Shaman should use. I can give you the quick answer here and now: there really isn’t a lot between Potion of Speed and Potion of Wild Magic, in the grand scheme of things. What matters is WHEN and with WHAT you use them. Let me highlight a particular word there: You. Your gear choices, your playstyle, your rhythmic key pushing habits; all of these will dictate which potion is marginally better.
